Hydrogen Fluoride exposure can cause cardiac arrhythmia, and can even lead to cardiac arrest.1
Fact 2
Hydrogen Fluoride causes severe burns and skin ulcers on contact with the skin.2
Fact 3
Hydrogen Fluoride exposure can cause weakened bones, called skeletal fluorosis.3
Fact 4
Hydrogen Fluoride can cause pulmonary edema, which results in tissue damage, swelling, and fluid accumulation in the lungs.2
Fact 5
Hydrogen Fluoride can cause death with exposure to as little as 2.5% of the body’s surface area.1
Fact 6
Other symptoms of Hydrogen Flouride exposure include irritation to the eyes, nose, throat, eye burns, bronchitis, and rhinitis.4
